Description
In 2010 - STX called on By.O to identify subcontractor rationalisation opportunities to take on global competition from shipbuilders with the capacity to build huge ocean-going liners. Accordingly, Vincent led a task to advise them on defining work packages, find local subcontractors and draw up charge scales that would reduce the cost price of vessels. They set the cost price reduction target at 10–15% of the full cost of building a vessel.
